Eight Week

Mindfulness Meditation

course for adults

This course is based on the 'Youth Mindfulness' tradition which blends best practice to emphasise the nourishment of joy and happiness.

 

What's in it for me?

Attending this course will allow you to:

  • explore basic practices of breath and body awareness
  • deepen your awareness of feelings and thoughts
  • and meditate to nourish happiness, kindness and mindful communication.

What will I do?

Each week we will meet for two hours to explore set themes. For example in week one we 'discover the present moment'. Week five looks at 'self-compassion'.

We do this through practical guided meditations, shared discussion and follow up literature. Between weeks six and seven we have an extended session on a Saturday to really immerse ourselves in the tradition.

 

Is it for me?

This course is suitable for complete beginners and those who may have been practicing meditation but would enjoy understanding the underlying foundations of Mindfulness meditation. You will gain most by attending all nine sessions.

The course takes place in the Coleman Hall, Calle Nuñez de Balboa 6, Son Armadans, Palma 07014. (Directions supplied on application)

The course fee is 300 euros (inc IVA).
