About Me

Hello, I am Julie. I have been practicing Mindfulness meditation for over twelve years now. I have found it very beneficial in my own life, especially when going through challenging times.

Some years ago, I attended the 8 week Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction course which inspired me and from there began to share my practice with others.

More recently I have completed the Youth Mindfulness Adult and Kids programmes designed to teach others.


I hold a first class (hons) degree in Social Science, majoring in Psychology.

I have, for over 25 years, been teaching Post 16 students. I hold a Post Graduate Certificate in psychology and special educational needs.

I have more recently gained a distinction in a Post Graduate Certificate in Coaching and Mentoring.

Professional Bodies and Training

I am a member of The British Psychological Society.

I am a graduate of the Youth Mindfulness Kids and Adult programmes.

Other interests

I am passionate about how people learn, and especially enjoy helping others to enhance their own well-being, through meditation and life long learning.

I love singing and amateur dramatics.

I enjoy time with my family and adventures with our rescue dog who is cross eyed and very needy!
